Do I need a COVID Passport (COVID Certificate) if I want to stay in Asia Gardens Hotel & Thai Spa? +

In view of the fact that the situation is constantly changing and varies depending on your country of origin, we suggest that you refer to the European Union Website in order to obtain the very latest information about the conditions for entering Spain.

Regardless of the conditions required to enter Spanish territory, as from 3rd December 2021, presenting the COVID Passport will be a prerequisite to staying at Asia Gardens Hotel & Thai Spa +INFO (this would take you to the specific COVID Passport section).

Is it safe to stay at Asia Gardens? +

Asia Gardens is a private resort. Therefore, we have full control over who is allowed to access our premises.

What steps are you taking against COVID-19? +

Our prevention and protection plan includes an integral hotel-wide sanitizing programme using enhanced protocols, a screening and awareness programme for guests and employees, enforcing social distancing requirements in communal areas and group activities, and certified training for our entire Asia Gardens team. These guidelines are public and available to all our guests here.

Who assumes the cost in case of having to extend the stay because of quarantine requirements? +

In the event that you are a suspected or a positive case of Covid19, or have been a direct contact of another positive case of Covid19, all the expenses derived from the prolongation of your stay, the need for additional rooms, the extension of the contracted board basis or special transport needs that you may have, will be at your expense unless you have contracted an insurance for yourself or third parties to cover these risks and their derived expenses, in which case the cost incurred for reimbursement may be derived from that insurance.

What happens if I make a booking on Asiagardens.es, but I am not able to travel as a result of the coronavirus (COVID-19)? +

We have a flexible policy for bookings affected by COVID-19, prior submission of the relevant supporting documents. You now have the flexibility to postpone your booking up until 24 hours before your arrival for individual bookings with check-in dates through 31 August 2021. You will be able to change your booking dates and stay with us up until 31 December 2021. Your cancellation fees will be used as deposit and the best price will be guaranteed. Guests who made a booking through a travel agent or third party are advised to contact their travel agent to receive information on applicable policies.

Do I need a COVID test to travel to Spain? +

From 23 November 2020, all passengers arriving in Spain by air or sea are subject to health controls before arrival. Controls may include temperature checks, provision of documentary proof, and visual checks to determine the state of health of a passenger. Also, travellers arriving from a SARS-CoV-2 high-risk country/area must show proof of a NEGATIVE PCR test result (RT-PCR) obtained within 72 hours of travel. The list of countries or areas at risk is updated every fifteen days on the Spain Travel Health -SpTH website. You can learn more about health control regulations for travel here.

Is the use of face masks mandatory in Spain? +

The use of face masks is determined by the health authorities. At this time, Spain generally recommends that persons over 6 years of age use a face mask in outdoor and indoor public spaces. The use of face masks is also required in public transit, including airplanes, ferries, and trains, as well as private vehicles if the occupants of the vehicle are not members of the same household. The following general exceptions apply: people with disabilities; people who have a breathing problem; while exercising, eating, or drinking. These requirements, including all exceptions, may vary by region. Please check the requirements at your destination before you travel and keep a face mask with you at all times, in case you need to use one during your stay.

How do I get to Asia Gardens? +

Asia Gardens provides its guests with a shuttle service in spacious luxury cars for a complete Asian experience. Private transfers with complimentary Wi-Fi, water, hand sanitizer, and face mask. A luggage cleaning and disinfecting service is also available on arrival before your suitcases are sent to your room. When will it come into force?

The COVID Passport will come into force in the Autonomous Region of Valencia (Comunidad Valenciana) as from 3rd December.

Who will need a COVID Certificate or COVID Passport to access Asia Gardens?

All guests over 12 years’ old, and they must present their COVID Passport before accessing Asia Gardens Hotel & Thai Spa.

What is the COVID Passport that I need to be able to stay in Asia Gardens Hotel & Thai Spa?

According to the information made available by the Valencia Regional Government (Generalitat Valencia) on the date this page was published, the COVID Passport is a document containing the certificate that indicates complete vaccination against the coronavirus, or the presentation of a certificate showing that a diagnosis test has proved negative (PCR Test or Antigen Test) or a certificate indicating that the person suffered from COVID-19 in the past and has now fully recovered (Recovery Certificate).

How can I obtain the COVID Passport?

The three ways of obtaining the COVID Passport:

  •  The vaccination certificate for people who accredit that they have received the complete COVID-19 immunisation treatment
  • The diagnosis certificate, also available at the portal enabled by the Valencia Regional Government (Generalitat Valenciana), can be obtained by presenting a negative PCR in the past 72 hours, or, if not, an Antigen Test in the past 48 hours.
  • The Recovery Certificate is also available to those who have recovered from the illness within the past 180 days, accredited with a positive PCR Test. Furthermore, European Regulations do not accept the positive Antigen Test to obtain that document.

Where can I obtain it?

The European Certificate is a safe, secure and document that is free of charge. It can either be obtained via the Regional Health Ministry (Conselleria de Sanidad) website or by making an appointment to collect it personally from Local Health Centres.
